In Eight Flavors: The Untold Story of American Cuisine, Sarah Lohman writes about America's unity through eight flavors: black pepper, vanilla, curry powder, chili powder, soy sauce, garlic, MSG, and Sriracha.  She explores how these flavors arrived on the table and how it has shaped American history and culture.

This event will be hosted at Betsy Merten's home.  Reminder to mention the Wellesley-in-Pasadena book club when purchasing at Vroman's to save 20%!
