Faculty Speaker Event: Sara Wasserman '02

  • sara-wasserman-2Sunday, March 3, 2019 @ 2pm

Join us in welcoming Prof. Wasserman at the Pasadena Central Library, where she will be presenting her talk, "The Neuroscience of Decision Making."  Prof. Wasserman graduated from Wellesley in '02 with a double major in Neuroscience and Theatre Studies and was part of the Shakespeare Society.  She is from the Los Angeles area originally, and is delighted to be our faculty speaker this year.  At Wellesley, she is the principal investigator of the Wasserman Lab and her research utilizes fruit flies and 'virtual-reality' flight simulators to investigate the neuronal mechanisms that permit the multi-sensory integration required to produce contextually appropriate behavior.

  • The event will be on the 4th floor of the Pasadena Central Library.  The library staff have kindly asked us not to use the lot, due to the limited spaces and large expected turnout.  There is plently of street parking, as well as nearby parking garages.  If you have any questions or concerns, you can email WCPasadena@alum.wellesley.edu
